RN and RPN Resume Advice; How to write an interviewing securing resume

We wrote an article back in 2012 regarding RPN and RN resumes, and how to secure an interview. Over the last two years, our success rate is over 90%. Find out how other successful clients secured great nurse jobs? Be the first to read.
Although there are lots of nursing jobs circulating online and within our exclusive network, there are also a lot of candidates now graduating and or seeking moves to various hospitals and or departments. Finding a good job can be a bit daunting, but if you follow the advice below or contact us for help, you should see solid results.
Nurse resume is a technical document
From our experience and positive feedback from nurse clients who secured great jobs, Nurse resumes should be constructed similarly to engineering and other technical occupations. The reason being that the nurse job consists of mainly technical duties and the softer skills are generally secondary, followed by other pertinent details. Setting up a nurse resume is like building a structured process and takes time and planning. If you are up to it yourself, read on to find out how.
How do you accomplish this?
We have refined the method of creating a solid technical document, by utilizing charts and always sticking to a chronological style resume. You can read why functional resumes tend not to work here, so please do write a structured chronological resume for best results. Always cater your experience to the job that you applying to and don’t forget to include a targeted cover letter as well. Not everyone will read your letter, but if you have one, and someone does not and all else is equal, we would expect your profile to win over the recruiting team.
Concluding thoughts
